3cFreeStore originated as a project for A Gift For Teaching Orlando, Florida. When we first met them they needed us to convert an existing application written in MS Access to something more robust that eventually became the first version of 3cFreeStore. It used several of the existing modules of 3cPlatform™ and gave them core reporting and the basic tools to manage teachers, schools, and products for their frees store.
In a subsequent phase we connected them to OCPS’s HR department (Orange County Public Schools) using a webservice to validate teachers as they checked in using a bar code scanner and their existing teacher’s ID badge.
In 2009, Classroom Central of Charlotte North Carolina came to us with a laundry list of customizations that they needed for their organization they included:
- Teacher Scheduling
- Schedule their own shops based on predetermined dates and times
- Cancel an appointment online
- Report on perfect attendance, no shows and cancellations
- School/Teacher Registrations
- Administrators can log in, add, edit and delete teachers within their school.

- Scheduled Teacher Instructions
The request led to a total redesign of the product that included a re-architected database that improved overall performance, simplified reporting , gave us the option to move into cloud computing should we need additional scalability, and an exciting ,very easy to use interface.
