We use ASP.net and C# as part of our arsenal of development tools and many times we need to search the database in the same format as the user is seeing it. Information on Scum Bag Spammers

Our hosted websites recieve attempts from scum bag spammer trying to populate sites with profanity and/or advertisements. The most puzzling ones are the ones that try and use software to automate filling comment fields or form fields with advertising or just plain gibberish. Our internal tracking systems (AEMS) is able to log the activity and we thought others would like the information so they could do the same.

E-mail is Now Protected by 4th Amendment

In a decision ruled only yesterday, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has stated that e-mail should be treated like other private forms of communication when it comes to search and seizure. That is, the authorities have no more right to ask an internet service provider to turn over your e-mail.
