This configuration requires the Online Backup service on your account.

| How do I configure online backups? |
First you need to download the
NovaNet-WEB Backup client.
When installing the client you are prompted to install as a service or stand-alone executable.
Select Install as an actual service and click Next.

Select Use local system account
if you are backing up one computer.
Select Use a specific user account if you will backup
multiple computers over your network. You will need to define an account that has administrative rights on all machines
that wil lbe included in the backup.
Click Next when complete.

Complete the install wizard using default selections. After installation, launch the NovaNet-WEB client from
your Start Menu or taskbar.
The getting started wizard will begin.
Click Next.

Enter backup.spleen.org as the server name. Leave the 308 as the port.
Click Next

Select I have a username and password and click Next.

Enter your username and password and click Next.

Select I an not behind a firewall or proxy unless you use a corporate proxy to access the Internet.
If you use a proxy, get your proxy administrator to help you configure the next dialog with proxy information.
Click Next.

Test the connection and click Next.

Define a backup set name and click Next.

Skip defining a schedule, you can do that later, and click Next.

Select Use my logon password as the secret key. This opton allows the backup
administrator to restore files to a CD and ship them to you. This does not compromise your password.
Click Next.


Click Finish.

| How do I run a backup? |
Running a backup is very simple. Select the files to backup in the browser and
click the Backup Now button

| How do I schedule a backup? |
Click the Schedules button on the main window and then click Add.

Name your schedule and click Next.

Confirm your schedule and click Next.

Select a backup type and click Next.

Define the frequency and click Next.


Select the time and click Next.

Define extra backup options and click Next.

Review your selections and click Finish.

Click OK.

Your backup will now run at the time specified
